The way I see it at present, there is too much spurious information.  Example: I type in Shepherd, every Shepherd in the text is listed, as well as every name and pseudonym of authors who have Shepherd anywhere in the title.

Researching POOLE/POOL.  Nathaniel Poole born July 4, 1808 (possibly in Uley, Glouc to Nath.Pool & Abia Jeans, but not proven). Married Ann_______? and they had issue
Elizabeth b. Dec 1846
Clara  b. March 1850
Lucy b. circa 1849/50
Tamsen born 1852..

They all then emigrated to Canada in 1852, where 3 more daughters were born in Ontario.
Looking for info on Nathaniel's parents, and marriage info to Ann (and her surname).

HATHAWAY, Nicholas (b. 1595 Gloucestershire, d. ? [some sources state 1705, but that would make him 105!] whereabouts unknown).

Nicholas is the progenitor of the largest HATHAWAY line in the States.  The Hathaway Family Association does not feel there is proof enough to prove his ancestry, while others think they can take him back several more generations.

I would appreciate any information on Nicholas HATHAWAY of Gloucestershire.

I am new to Rootschat, researching the JEYNES family in Gloucestershire.

My grandfather was Benjamin Hubert JEYNES born we think 1889 Upton on Severn. Lived in Blakeney but ran away/left home at a young age so we don't have much other information. We know he came from a big family, is anyone else following up?
