Hi terry
There is a John Maddern in my tree but not married to a Jane.
Look at my tree by typing in:
www.petermann.v21hosting.co.uk/tree.htm and see if you can find any connection.
I did find this:
Anne Mann 1781-married: 1804 to John Maddern.

I know this is a long shot but I am related to:
Johanna Warren 1818-1891 married to John Oliver Mann 1810-1887.

Their son William Mann 1847-1917 was my grand father on my fathers side.

Apparently Johanna's father was a John Warren dates not known.

I have a photograph of Johanna Mann taken around 1890 (she looks about 70 years old)

Any help?

Do I have any decendents of:
John Mann 1766-1847 x Jane Oliver 1780-? born and lived in Paul and St Buryan area of Cornwall?

Their male decendents were:
John Oliver Mann 1810-1887 x Johanna Warren 1818-1896

(Also Richard, James and Charles Mann)

John and Johanna male line was William Mann 1847-1937 (my grandfather)

Ring any bells someone ?

I will make more sense of this next week when I have more time and get back to you. Meanwhile here some quick answers now for you now.
 
Apparently John* and Jane (oliver) had a son John Mann 1800-1877 married to Johanna Warren 1818-1896
They had a son William Mann 1847-1937 who had two wives: Millicent pearce and Elizabeth Mildren.
William had lots of children, one of whom was my father Richard Mann 1908-1999
 
* I have a long list of brothers and sisters of John

My great great grandfather was John Mann 1766-1847 and his wife was Jane Oliver 1789-????. They were born and lived in Paul and St Buryan Cornwall.I have the tree from him to me and I am wondering if they relate to you?
