Hello

William McMillan was my great great grandfather.  His daughter Jessie was my great grandmother.  I have some information and also a copy of his death certificate.  Please contact me and we can exchange details.

Kind regards - Ann

Hi

Really hope you are still looking at this thread!

My grandmother was Kathleen Horgan.  She was born in around 1910 - 1911 and I was always led to believe that she was born in Ballylanders.  However, having visited Dublin at the weekend the only register of birth for a Kathleen Horgan was in Listowel in County Kerry.  Her father is listed on her marriage certificate as John or Joseph Horgan (a farmer) but on her birth certificate it is Patrick Horgan.  Of course, it is possible that she wasn't registered at all and I have the wrong person!

She had sisters and she was a nurse in London.  Unfortunately she died in 1954.  My dad was (as far as I know) her only child.  He was born in London but came to Ireland during the war.

I look forward to hearing from you!
