Toowong Cemetery Brisbane Qld

I don't know if it will be of interest to anyone in oz,but when i have been taking photos around Rake lane Cemetery in wallasey.I occasionally come across a burial of a person that came from Australia.Also  on another grave stone,a member of a family that died in Australia.If i ever find them again i will put them on my topic on the Cheshir board.You never know do you if they might be re united with their family.

I realise its been a long time since anyone has posted for this one, but as I was browsing, I found this post as I have an extensive list of relatives at Toowong).   I noted the name Fairbanks so this is mainly for the attention of wawa.  

I have those 3 Fairbanks names in my tree - Edwin Richard married one of my relatives - a Violet Jane Street.    She died after him and was buried at Pinnaroo (    don't know why she wasn't put in with him at Toowong ).    I'd love to get a little bit more info on the Fairbanks family, and am happy to share info/photos about the Street family.

just  to  let  you  know  Pinnaroo Cemetery  is  in Western Australia  and Toowong  is  in Queensland  perhaps  she  moved interstate  to be with  other family

There might be a Pinnaroo in WA, but there is also a Pinnaroo lawn cemetery in Brisbane Qld.  Its under the Brisbane City Council cemetery search, and I've been there once before for someone else (before I discovered about the Street / Fairbank connection). 
Anyway, it looks as though wawa has seen this also as I have a pm to check.

Have been going threw my posts and just thought I would update everyone and let you all know that I did make contact with Anita regarding her post on the Fairbanks family and we have happily been sharing what information we have with each other.

Love finding new connections and learning more about my ancestors and it's thanks to this amazing site that I'm able to do that.

My dad is buried in the Lutwyche Cemetery on Gympie Road.  I have a photo of it but was taken many years ago.

I was there just a few weeks ago taking photos for someone else   
I worry about myself sometimes - having a hobby of visiting graves - feel somewhat like a train spotter   
If you want to give me the details, I will get there again - but not sure when

Thanks Trish.  There is certainly no hurry. It will be interesting to see if there is any deteriation over the years.

His name is Reginald William Johnson (same as mine) He is buried in the Monumental Part, Portion 1, Section 67A, Grave number 66.  You will note that I am not mentioned on the inscription.  That is because he died just before I was born.

Long time since our last communication.  As can be seen from the attached commnication, you were going to see if you could find my Dad's grave in the Lutwyche Cemetery.  I cannot see where you may have gotten back to me.  I am not pushing for it. When you have time (if you intend going to Lutwyche).
