I think I may have been since then Reg & I have some vague thoughts I may have checked your grave - but it may well have been someone else. My apologies & please keep reminding me.

At the minute the photographer is not well - so it may be a month or two before we can try again. meanwhile, I will start a thread with your details & anyone else can add some too - so when I get there I wont forget!

Hi everyone,
Reg I live about 15 mins walk from Lutwyche Cemetery.  I can go and have a look around and take a photo of the gravesite.  It will give me a good excuse to walk up around there rather than walking to the shops and spending money I don't have !!   lol.   
It will save Trish having to try and get there (no problem for me as its virtually in my backyard).
 
I also will be going into the city on Friday and the bus stop is just across the road from the Cemetery, so I can probably do this for you then.  If not I'll get there sometime in the next week.  I'll post again when I get the photo.

I just had a look at the exact location on the BCC location search, its a bit too far from the location of the bus stop (and I have only limited time on Friday am anyway), but I will go up that section on a more relaxed walk over the weekend.

Thanks Anita.  So kind of you to offer.  I am familiar with the where the Cemetery is.  Mum use to live in Kedron (Figgis St) and I use to go back there for holidays to see her.  I am in Canberra (since 1960).  Don't get up that way as much these days.

I was at the state library today & checked for a death/funeral notice for your Reginald William but sadly it was not to be found. There were very few in the papers at this time - presumably because of the war (the papers were rather thin as well). Some of the headlines were interesting to read.

Hi,

Hoping if anybody is still doing visits to the Toowoong Cemetery if you would mind doing a lookup and taking a photo of a gravesite for me. Hannah is my GG Aunt and I know that Florence and Cheryl are related but not to sure about Norma, hoping it's a family plot with headstone.

Thanks once again for your offer, when ever your able to get there would be great, Hannah has been a mystery up until recently as I've only just discovered she married twice and is buried under her second hsbands name, just having her burial details is great but a headstone would certainly be a bonus.
