I have no idea why, but the name Henry Amer popped in my head, went on a free search and found 17 Henry Amers! Lyz

I have found a Charles Amos Amer, Charles Inkerman Amer born 1895 died 1969, Henry Amer 1878, unsure if this date is birth or death. Lyz

I have a Ball family in my tree who were fairground folk and gyspy hawkers....the names Lydia and Iantha/Ianthe feature in the tree,and Im sure Ive seen them on a census report with an Amer or Omer family.
Casaubon (Geneva, London), Daulinge, Berners, McMullen (Nottingham), Tabb (Leics), Mycock (Derbys & Staffs), Gilbert (Notts), Price (s Wales), Krilovs/similar, gypsy Roberts, gypsy Clark, Bexell (Sussex), gypsy Elliott, Raven, Neligan (Co Kerry), Rymer, Newton (Hull).
