Any comments or suggestions please !!
Surely the first Kezia didn't die and Charled coincidently found another wife with the very unusual name of Kezia ?
They are not particularly close ancestors and I could probably buy Kezia'a death cert to see if there is an age on it, but would appreciate any feedback.

Can't answer about her age, but Keziah was the first daughter of Job. Then came Jemimah and Keren-happuch. The latter was a bit of a shock when I first encountered it in my family

I've got one lot where someone's age is just clearly wrong (10 years out) on one census, the ones before are right and the death record proves it.

This is a bit more difficult because the birthplace is wrong too   but in the first one, there's also a mystery in that the mother in law is called Mrs Andrews? Surely she ought to be Mrs Beckwith? It's a bit of a double whammy if you've got two different mistakes in the two censuses!

I would expect that to be the result of one of the infamous "dittoes".

I wonder if you had one of those sozzled enumerators for the other one, - seems to be many of them about!

Thanks folks,
I did think it all quite puzzling !!
I hadn't noticed the Mother in Law name being incorrect and am now even more confused.
HO 107 1557 is the reference in 1851 at Christ Church Southwark.
At first I wasn't able to read Charles's wifes' name aged 18 and I deduced that he had a different wife named Kezia in 1861 aged 40.  Then when I found the marriage reference and saw that Charles Andrews had married a Kezia Beckwith in 1850 I realised that the name of wife on the 1851 must have been Kezia.
Strange thing is that the ages on the both census returns are really clear and could not be mis read.
Back to the drawing board and thanks again.

we have a "thing" on this board regarding Kezia's - they always go missing or do weird things!

I can shed a bit of light on this one - although it might confuse you all further!! The family at 2 Robert Street is my family. Charles Andrews, the cab driver, was married to Emma Crabb in March 1850, and in 1851 they are living with Emma's mother, Elizabeth Crabb, who has been dittoed under Charles Andrews! Emma's age and birthplace are correct. Also living at the house was Emma's sister, Mary (my great-great grandmother) and her husband James Ford and their children. I searched in vain for Charles and Emma in the 1861 census only to find (I think) the same Charles with a wife called Kezia aged 40  - but then I found a marriage between Charles and Kezia Beckwith in 1850 ... which makes no sense - unless Charles had two wives!!!

Here is Kezia in 1841 with her family.She is said to be of full age on her marriage cert,her father is Samuel a bricklayer,so she can't be 18 in 1851 

Charles Andrews is also of full age on the marriage cert ,he is a bricklayer and his dad is William Andrews dec'd carpenter.
