Hi Clare
The trouble is there is always the possibility that amongst the rows of names could be the key to unlocking the door in the brickwall. That's what leads me back to the blooming things!!!

Very true Helen
I should have realised when it said my Christian name and birth year, and that this person (namely me) was researching my Grt Great Grandfather...their surely can't be two of me
the world is not ready for two of me

Another Hot Matches refresh this morning, and even a John Brown with birthplace details that means he is worth following up on. Also received some of my G's as well so we are definitely making progress.

Aaah - but amongst my latest Bs is a Blanks that actually does match!
Ian - haven't even bothered with my John Brown - all I know is he was a bricklayer and lived in Bow in 1841 where his daughter was born. (yes, I have found her birth reference but the page number is illegible - hand written indexes
)
