Hello Christine, I haven't done much research lately on the Godwards but I can soon fall back into it. I am at a loss with the Jenkins as it is difficult to find the right records for Ireland. They were said to come from Sligo. So frustrating! Looking back I spent many hours with my Gran but regrettably at that time never thought to ask questions. Henry' John's Father was the Shoemaker Cobbler. Oddly my Gran's eldest son Harold was a Shoemaker in Sheffield, must have followed in his Grandads footsteps as they say!
