SHELFORD family from Chrishall
« on: Saturday 22 October 05 06:18 BST (UK) »
Edward and Ann Shelford were married in Chrishall in 1725. On the IGI I have been able to identify their children as:

Richard  chr 1726
Thomas chr 1727
Thomas chr 28 Feb 1730
Edward chr 28 Feb 1730
Thomas chr 1732
Elizabeth chr 1735
Ann chr 1743

From this list some questions are raised and I wondered if it was possible to find any answers....

Is it reasonable to assume that Edward and Thomas were twins? Can this be confirmed? The christian name, Thomas, is given three times...I am assuming that two of the Thomas boys died in infancy. Is it possible to verify that?

Cheers

Elsie
