Burgess family in Latchford 1861

Hello,

I am trying to find William Smith Burgess aged about 45 and living (I think) in Latchford, Warrington. He will have a son, James Smith Burgess, (aged maybe 4) and possibly another named Charles Smith Burgess. William's trade was Whitesmith.

All a bit vague I'm sorry to say, but as ever any help would be gratefully received.

Where were they all born and what was his wife's name as there are 7 William Burgess on the 1861 born 1813-1817 but none living in Warrington.  Have you found them on the 1871 census?  If yes - could you post full details of the entry as it can help find them on the 1861.  You seem to have doubts about Latchford - where they elsewhere on other censuses

Latchford was right on the border of Lancashire and Cheshire.  Unfortunately William Snr is not at home with them on the 1861:

I haven't looked at this site for a long time! Great to have your message about William Smith Burgess, who married my direct ancestor Anne Charlton Warburton in Lymm. The family then moved to Warrington.
