HI There,
This is a long shot but all along my greatgrans children and grandchildren are Moses,
I know nothing about her and have been trying very hard to find out about her life.
All I know is her name,
which was Elizabeth Ann Roberts born Denbigh April 4th 1853/4,
she died in Rhyl Nov 1927
she had two children called Moses one having died.................
these are a very hard lot to follow anyone who knows me will know I have tried to find my Abbott's in Rhyl with no success till the first child after the 81 Census .
I have a feeling they were linked too Hughes Evans, Williams .and Ellis. and of course Abbott..............Elizabeth Roberts had an Illegitimate child Sarah Ellen Roberts who lived with her Gran in Llanefydd 81 census  aged 8yrs at this time the Granny  Ann (Abbott??)was called Jones !!
 so the child on the census was Sarah Ellen Jones,
her reputed father Thomas Abbott of Llanefydd ,
Sarah  married as Abbott  . 1894 st asaph...........she married Robert Owens.
 I am sure Elizabeth Ann Roberts lived in Henllan and thats about my lot ........... may not be of any hel,
 but maybe some one will know of her and yours,
I don't think Elizabeth Ann Roberts Marr Thomas Abbott...................unless she married some one else after the birth of the first child
Oh and how I wish she had married T Abbott .I would at least have a dad for her

Hello Suebristol!  I am new to this but have been researching my family history for a few years. My Great Grandfather was Robert Edward Owens and I have a info on Mr Thomas Abbott!! (including photos! ) - I see you havnt been online since September  last year so hopefully you will get this message and we could confer!
