Please Help!! Michael Hughes in QLD

I can not find any info on Michael Hughes born in Rockhampton Queensland abt 1869, married Jane Riordan born in Cunnamulla Queensland abt 1886. Their son was John Thomas Hughes born in Golden Gate Queensland on 18/11/1911. I have tried everywherewithout success. Can anyone help?

There is a Micheal Joseph Hughes, born20/11/1869 Qld
Father John Hughes, and Mother Bidget Baiheny,
All I call tell you is that he wasn't born in Brisbane, but, he was born somewhere in Qld.

There are a couple of possibilities for your Michael, Kenjo has probably picked the best one. There are some spelling variations  (nothing new in that)

John Hughes married Bridget Briheny  22 Apr 1865   1865/ 000460
(As mentioned, a B in the code indicates Brisbane registration; no B means anywhere else in Queensland).

Very handy that our certificates have lots of data      - Should always buy the one for the youngest in the family & it will mention everyone else. Presumably yours is only missing Henry Joseph.

If you have access to an LDS Centre or library with the fiche you can search more. The fiche are in 4 year blocks by type (B D or M) so it's somewhat a slow search.
