John Fairman ??? where in Kent

Hope someone may be able to help

My great x 3 grandfather John Fairman apparently came from Kent ?? where he was born abt 1794. 
He went on to marry a Mary Rich from Croydon  25 - 12 -1824, I know my great x 2 grandfather Alfred  was born 1835 and would like to know if there were any other children in between, I do know there was a Henry Fairman, and I have found them all on the 1861 census living in Southwark area.

Any info would be great
