continuing on from my last entries Got the O'Neil name wrong he was at Rheindahlen. Anyone remember Jock Craig? he became a Warrant Officer  and what about a Wraf Cpl by name Val Hamer? I know she married a fellow Cpl but his name escapes me . NWCC was a great and happy posting to many of us I remember being on evening shift when the Man u Team bought it in Germany, there that gives my age away.
Many a happy day at Haydock including a trip down the local coal mine.

Yep! ??? Wondered what had happenned to you? My private e mail can be obtained from Frank; if you ever want to catch up on the missing 40 years! I notice this site is "hit" quite a lot - yet there only a handfull of us that blog! Must have been a lot more folk than we realised working under that slag heap!!

Thankifully in regular contact with Jacqui; I see Frank every couple of weeks now and I am in contact with Alan Gardner. sadly he has family problems at the moment so it is a softly softly approach.

Would like to know what happenned to Andy Richards and Brian Williams? I last saw Brian at PMan22 Gloucester around late 71. Andy Richards became a civilian copper and managed to get an ATC commission but he never kept in touch. Last saw him around 79/80.

Waiting to see more photos!

For Jatcc2; not sure if the Jock Craig you mention is the one in one of the recent photo's. He is the one holding the cup. If you did mean him then you can backtrack my blogs where I mention his passing.

Hi everyone,

Sorry, work is manic with all the end of financial year stuff.

I was disappinted to find that the site won't accept the press cuttings I have as they are probably the most interesting to Greyhound.

As far as I can recall, this one is the opening of the Spider's Web Club.

Well done Frank; let us keep it going! Thanks Lynne fot the photo - you have not changed a bit!! Also recognise Mrs Sergison - the other faces are familiar but names are not with me just yet! I am sure Sunshine girl will have something to add when she sees the photo!

Linda; You know the town I live in; look me up in the phone book! Frank & I get together on a regular basis as we only live a few miles apart; I am fixing up a lunch date with Alan Gradner/Frank and myself sometime soon. As Frank says - we are not getting any younger and we must continue to enjoy the past - as well as the present!

Keep it going!  Ken
