Re- Picture of Spiders Web Committee; the guy on the left was from 53 SU, The Chairman next to him I can't recall. Next to Ken is Cpl Tony Campbell(PBX) and the guy at the front is Cpl Reg Bamford of 53SU

Oh my goodness! That's  .... oops, nearly slipped and said her name.  Can't do that until Lynn recognizes you, can we, Geordielad?  Oh Lynn, you're going to kick yourself when you realise! <grin>
As for the other people in the Dance Committee picture - I know the faces and the names but I'd never have put the two together, Geordielad!
By the way, for those others who couldn't remember the name of the Mess WO, Geordielad cleared that up too (clever clogs!). His name was Warrant Officer Ward.
Any more pictures, anyone?

 It must be Ken!

No idea you were a Geordie Ken.  Good to hear from you.  Did you already have copies of the photos I posted?

I will see what other photos I have.

Meanwhile, here is one for Sunshine Girl - taken before the heavy snowfall which brought the UK to a grinding halt!!!  I have had to crop it as it is deemed too big to post!  Grrrr!

It is a complete white out here and freezing!  What I wouldn't give for 64%F  Jac

Yes it is me! Have you tried my e mail? if not send it to my wife's e mail.  KathXXXXX@hotmail.com. We would love to learn how the years have been treating you. I will be seeing SWO Man soon and Sunshine Girls has my e mail OK and we are corresponding.

I spoke to our PTI friend of those dayonly last night and he hopes to join the party soon. He also married a locasl girl called Muriel; SWOman should ask his wife if she remembers doing her training with her all those years ago?
I do have some more photos which I will upload when I have mastered the system.

Hi Ken,

It is wonderful to be in touch with colleagues I haven't heard of for 50 years.  It all seems like yesterday as the memories keep flooding back.

I will catch up with you by email or PM soon - when work calms down.

All the best,

Lynn

Hello Everyone.
I havent been on site much recently. Chatted with Sunshine Girl last time. The Irish airman was Tony Casey. I met up with him years later in Singapore when he was at the Changi Hotel on his way home ffrom Hong Kong. Nice to see some familiar faces that have appeared on this site.
Regards to everyone
Jumbo

Hi Lynn!

You guessed it. Geordielad is our Ken! <grin>  I didn't know he was a Geordie either. Fooled us both, didn't he?

What a beautiful picture you sent. Where was it taken? I wouldn't mind an afternoon in that, just to get into the Christmas spirit - but only an afternoon. <grin>  As for you wishing for 64+ weather ... Lynn, you're welcome here anytime - truly. I've said the same to Ken and to Frank.  Come stay with us and we'll show you around. It's in the mid 70's today.

Hi Frank!
I remember the name Alan Gardner but not his face, I'm afraid.
