I took a shot in the dark on the heap's - and the slaughter's seemed stright forward - but i'll need more info for charles chadwick

Many thanks for your help.  Since posting my message, I had located Thomas and Frances Heap and Charles Chadwick, and I think I've found the Samuel Slaughter in question outside Lancs.  But your response is useful in identifying James Slaughter, who is likely Frances (Slaughter) Heap's brother and another child of the Samuel Slaughter I was trying to locate.
