Are "Wireless Receiving Licenses" archived anywhere ?

Once upon a time we all needed such a license to listen to radio broadcasts (I guess from about 1925 ?). I wonder did the Post Office (presumably) keep these all somewhere and if so where are they now ?

Anyone know ?

Thankyou for your very helpful reply. Don't fancy those kind of numbers though. 2.5M of 'em by 1928... :(
