1841 Look up Snailham

Hi

I would be very grateful if someone could look up John and George Snailham

John would have been around 43 in 1841 and George about 10. They were born in the Bitton/Warmley area.

There is this one but father Thomas  He wasn't John Thomas/Thomas John by any chance?

Thank you very much for looking. I've done a bit more searching and I think Thomas is John's brother.  John may have moved to South Wales in the 1830's which might explain why you didnt find his name.

I dont know how you interrogate the data but did you see any other Snailhams in your records.  In particular John and Thomas' mother Hannah Snailham nee Lewis.  She supposedly died around 1849 so should appear in the 1841 records but as I've not been able to get conclusive info on her death it would be useful to know if she ws still around in 1841. she was born in 1771. Her husband George died in 1838.

The Hannah I'm lookign for would have been around 70 but these Snailhams are definately related. Its just finding all the links. Scratches head.
