Moren, I've been following this chat and glad that you have confirmation of where your ancestors lived.  What are the names of your ancestors please?

 helendg,
My ancestor was John McLaughlin.

Hi myyran
I wonder if I do have the same photograph as mine is from the book by John Hood?

If anyone reading this did have any old photographs of Filshies bar I would be so delighted to see them.
