Hello Krys,
I had posted a message on the East of London message board and I believe that Pauline at Roots Web administration linked me to you at Roots Chat. All very complicated I think.
My great grandmother was Frances Ann JUTSON. Her life began in 1863 in Deptford, Kent as Frances Ann JUTSUM, daughter of William JUTSUM and Margaret Elizabeth NEWLAND. The 1861 census shows this family living at 2 Broadway, Deptford. In 1871 they were in Brighton with William widowed. Frances was that same year to be found visiting, wrongly given as age four and written as Francis JUDSON and presumably with whom I think is her sister Julia also aged four. In 1881 Frances (now JUTSON) is in Brighton working at the Norfolk Arms Inn. There is no trace of her father anymore. He had originated from Bath, Somerset abt. 1816. His probable father is on the 1851 census, John aged 56 and born in Wells, Somerset. On the 1851 census William lived with his first wife Anne at 106 Royal Hill, Greenwich.
I had a peep at your family tree and there does not appear to be any links but they could be lurking there somewhere. Interesting, but just coincidence I think is that we also have a JAMEISON, on my mothers side again. If there is any connection here then it is a long, long way back!
At the very least, I hope that you find this interesting.
Best wishes,
Tony Savery
