Stephen Peet info needed - 1851 lookup please

I wonder if anyone can help - I have hit a brick wall.

I am looking for information on a Stephen Peet.  The only information I have is that he had at least one son also called Stephen who was born 1819 and that he was dead by 1841 (I know that because he is listed as deceased on his sons marriage cert).


As his son lived in Kent and his children were born there I am assuming he may of as well.

Any ideas would be welcome!!

Have you any idea of a location in Kent?

Where did Stephen junior marry/where was he born?

Most Kent PEETS seemed to have come from the registration districts  of Elham, Canterbury, Dover and Greenwich

He was married in Barnet but at least 3 of his children were born in Kentish Town - he died in St Pancras in 1857

I'm not sure where he was born I have been looking so I can obtain his birth certificate but so far no luck - all I know is he was born about 1819.

Sorry know its not a lot to go on!

If this is the correct family then the 1851 census should show where Stephen was born - I'll move your post over to the London Lookup Request board
