There definitely should be another one in Manchester just to go to the Cheetham Library and see all those archives, especially The Sexton ones, wow

I think one thing the talk at the Cathedral taught me was you just do not know what is out there for us to research

and if it was not for Rootschat we wouldn't know half what we do know with regards to Genealogy Research.

Hi

I'm a bit late posting as I battled through snow on the High Peak and then had to go and sing Choral Evensong (but not a beautifully as the Manchester Cathedral trebles yesterday). I have concentrated on Mr Bateman as he has managed to dodge many photos by being the 'happy snapper'. It was a fantastic day and I hope 'us northerners' can come and meet many more of you soon 'down south'.
