Well we are getting very excited now about the RootsChat Meet Number 3. Trystan and I are very much looking forward to putting some faces to some names. This is what we have worked out so far..
Itinerary for Saturday 11th March.

The Station itself is an interesting place to start our day. Lots of original features including a Brick wall plan of the destinations that at the time of opening you could get to by train from Victoria.
Today, Victoria Station not only caters for trains but also of the Manchester Metro link. These trams run through the city about every 10 minutes.

largest series of Parish Registers in the Country

. There will be a special RootsChat talk for about an hour given by the Cathedrals Archivist
Mr Christopher Hunwick.

Cathedral Refectory and a chance to view up close the remains of the 15th Century “Hanging Bridge” which linked up the old Mediaeval town to the Church.
This licensed restaurant provides mouth watering dishes

such as Shank of Lamb braised in red wine, honey and rosemary to lighter lunches of smoked Salmon, cream cheese and chive sandwiches. Prices range from £2.50 - £5.50 (These are samples dishes taken off their website.
