Scotland?

Did someone mention Scotland?

When 'up north' was mentioned I didn't realise it meant the north of England.

To me, 'up north' is Wick, Thurso and John O'Groats and 'down south' is the Borders!

I'd be more than interested if Scotland was included - it's not that far away guys!

"you can't please everybody" - where have I heard that before?

the essentials are:
good transport links (plane, train, coach)
cheapish accommodation
not too many hours travelling from anywhere in the UK

Looks like Birmingham or Manchester, with Liverpool hot on their heels.

Guess I'll have to stop buying BMD certificates and save up the fare!
