I see that Manchester is in the lead as the venue for the National Meet.

Chester would do Lancashire/Merseyside as well as Cheshire!  It would have my vote.

Mary

Will Chester be handy for Staffordshire too,
if so it will get my vote, if not its London for me       ;D

Yeah, Annie!

I reckon you all should come to Australia.  Plenty of sunshine and warmth here.  All we have is droughts - it doesn't rain much any more!

We Aussies don't have the luxury of deciding where in the country to meet.  The country is too big.  It's local meets for us, if we're lucky!!!

I reckon it would be a lonly old time having a local meet in  Towoomba, mind you I'm not sure how we would fare over here in Perth (sorry I don't really live in the Gibson)

Wherever it is PLEASE give plenty of time to book cheap tickets.  There are some very good rail deals to London at the moment(£10 single Leeds to London) and the earlier you book a flight the cheaper it is.

Manchester is still in the lead.

I'm going there for the day in October for my own mini-meet with a friend who I've met on here.

It's costing me £28 cheap day return for me and my 3 children - very reasonable!
