HI All

Just to say I had a really great time yesterday  :D

I was a bit nervous as I didn't "know" anyone but as has been said before, everyone was really friendly & I felt settled in at once.

Also, managed to avoid the worst of the camera action  ;D [I'm the one fleetingly in the red coat & specs]

Sorry I had to leave the action early but hubby is off to London for work this afternoon for the week, so I felt I had to get back.

I'm planning to bombard that nice archivist with lots of requests from his Banns book & Sexton's register as loads of my rellies lived in Salford - he may not realise what he has let himself in for  ;D

Cheers to Lloydy for setting it up & to Trystan & Sarah for the day & to everyone who was there for making it a great time.

Not everyone could stand the pace - only 5 plus the photographer were left to go the a "very nice" bar to round off a fabulous day.
I hope you have got the atmosphere generated by everyone - I think we all had a great time and it is because of not only Trystan & Sarah - but ALL Rootchatters who were there in spirit to make this a wonderful day.

maybe somebody could  start a website of the different meets - there was even one in Australia before wasn't there? That would be a cool ongoing record of all our RootsChatters - Glad you all had such a good time - I'm telling you - all the "left behinders" were all waiting with bated breath to hear how you all did ...... !

What wonderful photos, everyone looked like they had a great day.  It's such a shame that I had to miss it, but there is always next time......by the way, work was quite boring, and the opening day wasn't as busy as it might have been.

Lovely to "see" you all, and Wheeldon now I know what you look like!!!! ;D

I'm really looking forward to No 4 ;)
