Hello
I'm trying to find out more on George Norris baptised, according to the Lenham Bishops' Transcripts Parish Records, on April 10, 1811 as the s/o Thomas & Mary Norris.
George was the father of an illegitimate daughter (and perhaps a son) by the widowed Hannah GOLDING, nee PHILPOTT. Their daughter Georgiana born 1840, was my great great grandmother. I found her father's name on her marriage record to Charles FULLER of Lenham
The only George Norris who 'fits' is this George born in 1811. I've hunted for him in the census records on microfilm at the LDS church in Salt Lake City but have not had much luck.

--1851 census Lenham, can't find him
--1861 census Lenham, age 50, livng with his mother Mary, he is unmarried. He's at 14 Chapman Lane, also in the home are his brothers John & Jesse. His mother Mary (whose surname I don't know is listed as a widow, 64, born Pluckley
--1871 census all of England, can't find him, I assume he was deceased
I'd like to know where he was in 1841 and 1851, and I'd like to find his death record, as well as his mother's maiden name. I know that his father Thomas was Baptised May 10, 1789 as s/o Edward & Catharine Norris. Catherine's surname was EARL.
I haven't been able to go back beyond Edward NORRIS to his parents (he was born circa 1746, don't know where, and died 02 May 1829 in Lenham) or Catherine EARL (she was born circa 1752, don't know where, and died 24 Dec 1828 in Lenham)
Any advice welcome and of course, I'd love to connect with someone else searching these lines!
Also, since I've mentioned Hannah Philpot, last year I was lucky enough to find her baptism in Pluckley 05 Apr 1805. parents John Philpott and Susanna unknown. No luck going back in the church records for Pluckley on finding a marriage for John and Susanna, or any births/baptisms so I think they must have come from elsewhere.
If anyone is looking for these lines too, it would really be my lucky day :-)
