phew,
sorry lots... (see last message)
if anything links up to info you might have, my relative living in Canada (Roger & Christine Kearnes) are coming over -to the UK- in september, so hopefully more info will come, they have contacted Breatrice's granddaughter, and we will meet up with her soon..

this is my Kearnes family tree this info is as much as i know,
I have transcribed this data over the phone from my Granddad, from the family bible, The bible is dated 1865; my granddad reckons it was gift perhaps on his 50th birthday (John snr)? any other data is from hear say and a few definated finds via research on line...
many thanks for your contact, having support from the more experienced researchers is invaluable.

Hi Kae
You have an absolute gold mine there with your Family Bible - wish all families had one then we wouldn't spend so much time searching.  I started off with my grandparents names and worked back - now that is hard work especially when your grandfather has been ostracised from his family for marrying outside his religion.
Will print off your last reply and go through it in a little while and get back to you.

Just returned from finding my 2nd great granmothers grave, unforntunately there was no stone, but I got a digphoto of the plans and the register of burial page, and found out her first name, so Im feeling rather pleased with myself.

hope alls well with you
