BARTLETT Look-up 1851 Please

Could you please look up the Bartlett family in the 1851 census in Morden/Almer. The reference is I believe HO107/1856 f463 pp2-3. I need to establish the relationships to the head of household.

Hi Terry
There were two BARTLETT households in Morden on the two pages of HO107/1856 f463 that you referenced. From their ages etc it seems likely that the second were descendants of the first family, and that they lived close to one another, but the address of the first household was (I think) "Frogmoor" and of the second just "West Morden". The writing was very faint and not easy to read, so I am also in doubt as to the occupation of William BARTLETT and the birthplace of his wife.

Many thanks - brilliant! The appearance of the mother-in-law gives me the maiden name of William's wife Elizabeth, over whom I have struggled for some while. I had earmarked the marriage to Elizabeth Coaks in 1817 at Lytchett Minster as a likely option and you have confirmed it.
I can also locate the second Bartlett family of Charles and you have confirmed his relationship to Amelia, who died shortly thereafter.
Could you - pretty please - look up Willam's brother Benjamin (b. 1796) and his family who were in Almer at the same time? I can't give you the full census reference but they are adjoining villages. I went down there a couple of months ago and even found the farm where they lived in 1841 but no trace of any documentation or gravestones or anything.

Many thanks for the 1841 detail; mothers-in-law do seem to hang around, don't they? I've picked up on Ann Coakes and found her marriage and birth in LDS and then her parents wedding. It is either feast or famine, isn't it?
