RootsMagic 11 - image formatting issue
« on: Yesterday at 12:32 »
Hello

I'm having an issue in reports generated on RootsMagic 11. The images overlap the text (see screenshot). It only happens to the 'spouses' - it's the wedding details that are partially obscured.

I've tried changing fonts, all the different image sizes, and different report types. The problem remains!

Very grateful for any suggestions or guidance.

from the Rootsmagic support pages

When you are writing a story normally the composer shows the settings for fonts, bold, italics, justifications, etc. If you click on the picture you will see that the composer area (right above the text area) changes to the Picture Tool which has settings to wrap the text around the picture. You can select where you want the picture to be placed by clicking on one of the Picture Tool icons.

That said, the problem you describe appears to be an old one and has been commented upon quite extensively in the forums with no apparent solution other than a repeated reference to the above information.

I do not know regarding Roots Magic 11 but if you are using a PC you could try right-clicking on the image as that can offer further options.
