Help Please any details David Lloyd

I am slightly dubious about the reverend David Lloyd being the same David Lloyd as the baptisms that I can see the original records for say Mr David Lloyd whereas I would have thought they would use his title if it was him.

Another point of interest is that in most of the official documents I can find he is referred to as Mr David Lloyd most other men are just referred to by their names does this mean a person of some standing.

The son of Llewellyn might fit on age and is Doctor of Civil Law

Mr is a term of a man of standing;

Google;
The title "Mr." was exclusively reserved for gentlemen, wealthy landowners, merchants, blockholders, and men of high professional standing (such as clergy or doctors)


As to you saying;
I am slightly dubious  etc about the baptsims being to the same David Lloyd.
It was up to the Clergyman who noted the baptisms to what was written about the Parents.

I doubt there was more than one David Lloyd around in Kings Lynn in that time frame.
