Well - " Hello Cousin" from your relatives in Oz

I hope that you can get a pm (personal email) to me. You should be able to do so on this site, however you may be interested to learn that we have a mutual "cousin" living in England near Oxford. Her name is Shelagh and she is going to endeavour to phone you. Shelagh saw our posts on this site and has emailed me to ask consent to give you my email address - so one way or the other we will be able to communicate. Shelagh is also a descendant of Ann McCulloch, and my husband James McCulloch is a direct descendant of Robert Bruce McCulloch.
Ann McCulloch born 1822 was the daughter of Robert McCulloch and Janet Donald who married in 1820. They had 2 other children - Robert Bruce McCulloch b 1824 and who migrated to Oz and Janet (Jessie) McCulloch b 1827. Ann McCulloch married James Anderson 1841 by which time both of her parents were dead. Maybe this is where your cousin got the idea of her being an orphan?
Shelagh, her husband David and I met through this web site, and they have also compiled a large amount of information.
Anyway, we are all very pleased to have made contact with you and are very happy to share our information with you. I have no doubt that you will also have information which will fill in some blanks for us with your side of the family. Between us we should end up with a tree large enough to paper a wall !!
Looking forward to future contact
Noelene
