Unfortunately there are several Croasdale children and the cemetery record does not give the name of the parents.

However this one is definitely a child of William and Adeline;

William Henry Croasdale buried 6 Nov 1900 - aged 1 month. Abode 240a Cog Lane, Burnley. So the same address as the family were living at on the 1901 census.
Places of interest;
Lancashire, West Yorkshire, Southern Ireland, Scotland.

Pennines and Mabel Bagshawe,

They had 13 children in total but I know that most of them were stillborn or died within a very short time after birth.  My Grandmother (Emma Elizabeth) and her much younger sister (Ivy) used to talk about it a lot.  I was 16 when Emma died and a mature man when Ivy died, so I do remember those conversations clearly.

I was old enough to remember five of them and now you have shown me that, in addition to the 5 who survived into adulthood, two more were live born:
William Henry who was buried in Burnley on 6th November 1900 aged 1 month
Margaret Jane born July 1907 and died October 1907 aged 3 months.

Further to this John was stillborn 1n 1903.  That accounts for 8 of the children and I believe that all the other stillborn children would have been born here in the North East.  We may never know, but it is amazing that all of this information has come together in just one day.  I am very grateful to all who have responded.
