Yeah, I will.

Ah that makes sense now.

Any luck with finding him in 1911 yet? I'm still stuck.

By the way, it's interesting that his bigamous marriage to Annie in 1919 was unreported by local papers at the time.

Sorry, no joy with Frederick so far in the 1911 census.
He seems to have gone off the radar for a spell, perhaps not unusual if he had recently left his family.

1939 Register Frederick Watson 31.07.1866  (FindMyPast)

Hall Charterhouse Charterhouse Lane, Hull Charterhouse, Kingston Upon Hull, Kingston-Upon-Hull C.B., Yorkshire (East Riding), England

They do not readily come up on Ancestry but if you type in Sarah Rich dob 14.10.1865 they appear (Frederick & Annie) 4/5 entries above.

See from a previous thread that you have a family story that Frederick went to America after leaving Eleanor. Could be he wasn't in England and Wales at the time of the 1911 census. Ray

Hi,

Thank you all very much for your contributions.

Yes, there was a family story that Frederick went to America, although I do doubt this (he was presumed to be dead in 1938--re Eleanor's death certificate.) This could be a possibility as to why he is missing from the 1911 census.

Thank you,

JackB

Well done, SS.
Ancestry have given Frederick Watson's date of birth as Annie's - 2 August 1882
And Annie has a transcribed date of birth of 23 February 1860, which is actually that of Emma Kirk on the line below.
I think they have all the birth dates on the page correct up to Frederick, but they must
have missed his, and so from then onwards they are out of sync (by one line!)
