I have got some from FreeReg as well

There are some for Hadley children of George and Rhoda but he is a glass maker; the address however is Summer Street, which is where Rhoda Dean is 1861

George's father was a glassmaker looking back at the marriage details.

Then in 1911 Joseph now also Shakespeare is with the Clarke's at 136 Booth Street Handsworth.

For info - one to count out. I looked in case he's still using Hadley and found this family in West Brom and all born there.

James Hadley    25
Eliza Hadley    26
Kate Hadley   4
George Hadley    1
James Adams    21    Boarder

However they're still together in 1901

Mabel,
That James is a Whitesmith and is likely to be the son of James and Sarah Hadley. In 1881, Young James is already a Whitesmith.

When George marries Rhoda his occupation is Wheelwright. Believe he is in prison in 1871, occupation Blacksmith, ref 1133 100 11

Maybe something in newspapers.

Not sure if this is the correct man, the age seems correct:

"George Hadley, 25, blacksmith, to stealing lead, at Dudley, the property of Thomas F. Higgs. Two previous convictions. Seven years penal servitude."
