Electoral record/phone book search

Hi

I’m looking for a Nigel George Andrew Sabori of 11 Northgate Street, Bury St Edmunds. He gave this as his address in a probate record dated 1983. He was born in abt 1932.

 I was wondering if someone could search the records at the Suffolk Record Office, the next time they visit please, to see if he is listed as an occupant there and how long for.

Was he the executor or a beneficiary? 

If he was a beneficiary - when was the will of the deceased written?

FreeBMD does not show any birth registrations in England for the surname Sabori prior to 1962.  Plus there are no entries in 1939 register for the surname Sabori.

I can see birth registrations for the surname SABERI but no forenames or timescale to match your query.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.
Remember - "They'll be found when they want to be found" !!!

He changed his name, I would go to the records myself but I live to far away. I’d like to see if he is listed on the electoral roll for that time period. The Suffolk archives have paused their search requests unfortunately

F. G. Pawsey & Co. used to publish an annual directory (The "St. Edmunds" Almanac and Diary) listing residents by surname and by street address, probably based on the previous year's electoral roll. I have two editions from the 1980s (surplus library stock bought several years ago) neither of which reveals anyone named Sabori. The occupants of 11 Northgate Street were:

1981: J. D. Garnish

1984: J. A. Rosenthal
