Ann Fortt Nee Bishop Brick wall
« on: Monday 02 March 26 16:25 GMT (UK) »
I was wondering if anyone can help me push her family line back a generation
Her Family search number is GD8X-ZJC (so I don't have to rewrite all the known info of her)

myself and others had no luck figuring out much if anything about her or where she came from. Proving things has also been a bit difficult.
I would like to at least figure out her parents and siblings

thanks

Presumably you are referring to Ann Bishop who married John Forrt in Bath on 5th November 1789  :-

What information do you have on her after the marriage - children - her burial

All the info is posted on family search I have a established family tree of her son William Fortt Down A historian did extensive research a museum show and book on William Fortt in 2013 and his business children etc.

Ancestry has Ann Bishop's marriage Bann's and baptisms of her and John Fortt's Children but that is about it.

I cited the sources, where possible on Family search under "Reason This Information Is Correct" below the facts stated

Sources attached to her are after her marriage to John Fortt. All Images are not available to be viewed though just a summery transcript.

I am looking for her parents and sibling not any more information on her children at the moment.

I realise that you have given a link but it is really up to you to give some basic information, you have given no details of dates or where she married or when and where the family lived  :-\

Personally I have no idea how to search a tree on familysearch and I suspect that some others who could help you on here would not know either.  It could help if you posted a link.

Her and her husband should be alive in 1841 but I haven't found the census

I looked at her parents being John Bishop and Martha Harvest a few years back but that didn't pan out. I didn't write a note to myself explaining why.
