Ancestry Dna match
« on: Saturday 21 February 26 22:01 GMT (UK) »
Please could someone point out to me what this means when I try and find out a match on another person.........is either not a DNA match or has not taken a DNA test.

However, (my brother) is a DNA match to tests associated with Mrs Smith's account including:

CO ?   the CO is the person I have clicked on and got the above message. Mrs Smith
Mitchell Ireland Gavin Ireland  Morrison Ireland Hogan Ireland Kelly Ireland Duggan Ireland

How many cMs does your brother share with this person?
Your brother might share more DNA than you do with them? You may be below the cM cut off that Ancestry display.
Do both you and your brother match with CO but only him and not you matches with Mrs Smith?

Its not saying how much, when I click on DNA relationship to myself it says I have no relation but when I click on DNA relationship to my brothers it gives the message my brother to CO is either not a DNA match or has not taken a DNA test. However, (my brother) is a DNA match to tests associated with Mrs Smith's account including:

CO ?   the CO is the person I have clicked on and got the above message. Mrs Smith

WE NEED TO KNOW HOW MUCH cM IS INVOLVED.

I AM TYPING LIKE THIS BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN ASKED TWICE PREVIOUSLY FOR THIS INFORMATION.

Sorry Biggles, but I could have sworn that I mentioned that it does not say how much it just comes up with.............my brother to CO is either not a DNA match or has not taken a DNA test. However, (my brother) is a DNA match to tests associated with Mrs Smith's account including CO

Sorry everyone I should explain that this person messaged me asking if I knew our connection (I was not aware that we were) so I clicked on her name  (CO) and found that I wasnt so I checked all my siblings and found that two of my brothers (when checking for DNA connection) got the following statement ..........my brothers to CO is either not a DNA match or has not taken a DNA test. However, (my brother) is a DNA match to tests associated with Mrs Smith's account including CO
Mitchell Ireland Gavin Ireland  Morrison Ireland Hogan Ireland Kelly Ireland Duggan Ireland
