Preston Cemetery (North Shields) Grave no. Search

Hi there,

Just wondering if it would be possible for anyone to search for my 3rd-great grandmother in burial records for Preston Cemetery? Any help would be appreciated as I am currently based in South Wales.

Her name would be Elizabeth Hazard, and she died on the 26th of December 1916 at the County Asylum in Morpeth. I know she is buried there due to a newspaper article but haven't been able to find a grave number.

There is an entry on findagrave.com for

Elizabeth Tate Hazard - 1842-21 December 1916. 

Preston Cemetery and Tynemouth Crematorium Memorials

No further information given.

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

I don’t think the cemetery records are online anywhere.
The Findagrave memorial was created by river Tyne lass who is also a rootschatter so I have sent her a message in the hope she can help if she has time.

Thank you! Forgot to mention I do have this saved, it's another reason I'm certain she's buried there, but just not sure where about within the cemetery.
