Unknown gentlemen, unknown occasion, unknown date

Me again.
This photo is in a big pile of old family photos. We have no idea who the chappies are, what they are doing, or when they are doing it.
Any suggestions?!
They all have flowers in their lapels...
Any suggestions gratefully received!
Thanks in advance,
Karen

A work group on some special occasion (either for the company they work for or for society at large)?

Agreed - the variety of garden flowers in their buttonholes is wonderful

The thing I notice most is that the gents have only the top button fastened.
This apparently indicates late 19thC/Edward times.
Google has loads of sources.
I too would say a men's works outing is likely.

Think it was a coach trip out, stopped halfway for a drink of 2 or maybe 3, I am sure my dad never want on one, although he was was Londononer, I don't think somehow it was his cup of tea but he didn't work for a big company.

The chap in charge of the horse and cart with a pipe in his mouth has a top hat on - possibly 'the boss'?

Thanks to everybody for answering, and many thanks to Ladyhawk for the Beano link! I had never heard of that! The vehicles in the photos in the link are gorgeous. And it would appear that the flowers in the gentlemen's buttonholes would be typical for a Beano. If we could see an accordian in the photo, the answer would be complete.
You learn something new every day.
(Sorry for the delay in replying, but I couldn't get in - RC kept saying "Database Error"...)
Thanks again!
