Samuel Wilcox Born Cropwell Butler in 1887

Good afternoon

I'm trying to find a marriage for a Samuel Wilcox. He was born Cropwell Butler, Notts on 22 January 1887 according to the 1939 Register and different Census Returns.

He was the son of Robert and Kate Wilcox.

I have located him in 1939 married to Susan where he is living in Eastgate, Sleaford.

in 1921 the family are resident in Air Street, Hull as boarders, where he is working for the Electric Light Company.

In 1911 he is with his parents living at South Kyme Fen, Lincs and his sister Ethel Mary.

He and Susan have sons, Albert Edward and Leslie both born in Horbling 1915 and 1917.

I cannot find a corresponding marriage for Samuel and Susan. Albert's birth registration gives MMN as Walker and Census returns give Susan's birth place as Amber Hill, which I know having lived near there is not too far from Boston. 

I'm assuming that the marriage took place somewhere within Lincolnshire but the Wilcox family do seem to move around a bit.

I've found Susan as a servant in New York in 1911 but no other reference to her elsewhere.

Any help would be appreciated.

I wonder if Susan Ellen Walker’s birth was registered as Ellen Walker

As a possibility 1901 but her name is Nelly  could be a pet name

is wrong on the 1939 register
