Hello Jeff

All praise to our redeeming Lord (Wesley)

My Grandmother was a Wesleyan Methodist before becoming a Jehovah's Witness.

I am not a Wesleyan, but here are the words (after the advert/s, which you can skip after a short time) ...

Thanks Mark. It was the words of the "comic song" which I was more interested in this time. I have a copy of Charles Wesley's original words. rj

This week's diary has been most interesting,  not for me though  we developed  a drip from the bathroom  on Tuesday,  floor boards up ,  it is dripping into the kitchen from the ceiling, I must be careful what I wish for!!, the times I have been in the bathroom  wishing I could have new flooring, seems I will have to now, so, be careful what you wish for,  my husband isn't up to it really and I had to have a serious word with him, I softened the blow, I hope by saying  I am not up to it either, he just will not have anyone in to do anything  but he has to this time, waiting for a plumber  coming pm, I have been dacing around  a bucket in the kitchen for days, it is a hazard.

Well folks, hope everyone else is feeling chipper, at least it isn't raining here today.

I am sure it will Gillig, walking anyway but in good company such bonuses.!
Fresh air ,exercise, companionship , you can’t beat it.
My daily two, hour walks with my dog years ago in a friendly group ,full of laughs ,got me over my first heart attack in 2009, and the fact that I walked with  her after that until she died has no doubt helped with things since, I would have got another dog but along came Covid .
I could not walk one now.

A lovely surprise ,Grandson phoned last night ,he cannot make it but the rest of the family are up and will come tomorrow.
So a dash to Supermarket early tomorrow ,I can cook a chicken , they will have lunch here.
Well old microwave and countertop cooker gone, used the new Russell Hobbs little oven for cheese and onion pie for tea, a bit “fast” so a few degrees lower next time.
It is so sparkly and shiny.A Russell Hobbs, new Microwave is too .
Two big boxes, Luca and Kyra will play with them tomorrow.,I have all sorts of craft stuff for them to decorate the boxes should they choose to do that.

I hope we have a nice Summer ,but if we do we will surely be short of water-
Hard to believe after all the rain  we have had.

Well , time for milky coffee and chocolate biscuits .
Look after yourselves folks. Thanks for the news.
Cheerio.Viktoria.

Louisa

Is the Toilet Cistern overflowing? However, they should overflow outside as a warning. The odd overflow pipe has been known to leak inside, when the w.c. cistern overflows.

But the leak could be from anywhere.

Sounds like you have changed rain outside, for a leak inside?

Didn't hear that on Roobarb's weather Forecast :D yesterday  ;D  ;D

Hi Mark
It wasn't the cistern,  I  suppose you could call it at a coupling  of 2 pipes first installed 58 years ago under the flooring,  the plumber  was very good as the original pipe was a difficult gauge,  so now we have the laborious job of choosing new flooring,  how boring, jokes joke, can't tell you how many times I have wished a new flooring, not what my husband intended but he has no choice, let's hope we agree,  both happy bunnies tonight.

Viktoria , hope the visit went well.

What started off a nice day we had rain pm.

Mark, yes thanks, I've been out and about. We've actually had quite a lot of sunshine here, although it's been really cold. I can put up with that in return for the brightness.  :) Forecast 12 degrees over the weekend and into next week.

Oh Roobarb,

I hope you are basking in the warm Winter weather ;) and sunshine.

Your "Forecast" has been the kiss of death on the weather here  ;D  ;D  ;D

I have been out for a walk in the rain, but any health benefit has been ruined by the desire to taste something pleasing upon return, so I've had a small packet of Cheese & Onion Crisps  :) and a Guinness.

Take care.

Hope all are keeping well or improving, Mark

Apologies Mark, I should have been more specific and added 'here in the North East'.

We did have some rain late afternoon after a pleasant morning. Sunshine forecast tomorrow and Monday here in the North East.   ;D
