Hi Roots Chatters
Looking for my grandfather George brother James Clark/e

James Clark/e born 2nd June 1903 at Garscadden Rows, New Kilpatrick, Scotland
I have his marriage cert  for 1923 , however I have never found a death cert for him.

Family folk lore suggests he left his first wife  for another and went to England

any help much appreciated

Was he still around in 1941 for the birth of daughter Sandra

Yes he did have a daughter Sandra b 1941

His parents were James Clarke & Mary Moore

This is the closest death I can find in England.

James Clark
Jun 1903   No exact day sadly.
Oct 1971
Oct-Nov-Dec
Blackpool
Lancashire

The only other I could find was a James born 11.6.1903 but he appears in 1939 war register so not him.

Yes Sandra’s birth has her father’s name . I think k it was 1912 she was born can’t remember the exact month and date . If you require this I can send it late as I’m at work right now .

I do not see a marriage in 1923, are you sure about the year, given the year Sandra was born, if that is the correct one?
