Newspapers only. Stated closing time is 23:59 GMT on Monday 16th February. Sometimes in the past it has not actually gone off until 10am on the following day but don't rely on this.

Note the
Terms and Conditions for Free Access Offers and a
Fair Usage Limit of 200 records per 24 hours, which I found previously was actually reset by 1am the following day regardless of when I started or when I hit it. 200 should be enough for most purposes, but I was having to scan for a section not always found by the search. I can't see any counter to tell you how close you are to the limit or a statement of what counts as a "record"; I'm sure I browsed well over 200 newspaper pages before being stopped.
As always with free periods, save anything of interest on your own device, as you'll need a sub to see it online after the offer closes.
Some of these newspapers are free at all times on FindMyPast or elsewhere, so check before using up too much midnight oil or your record quota. To see, click on

I haven't done extensive checks. Reply here if you find any restrictions, extra goodies, need help with quirks in the sometimes complex Search, or just to report successes -- a few posts bumps the announcement up so more people may see it.
