My grandfather (John Francis O'Brien) was born in Limerick on 22 April 1881..

Haughtons Lane,  Parish of St. Michael,   Limerick is where he was born. His birth is registered as John Michael…

You seem to have confused the issue  :-\

Born 23 April 1881 at Naughtons Lane, Henry Street.  MMN Sullivan

Kiltaglassan,
My humble apologies you are absolutely correct. It should be 23rd and not 22nd.
Regards
Pat

Kiltaglassan,
Further to my last apology I'm afraid I have also made another fundamental mistake as the birth address was Naughtons Lane and not Haughtons Lane which I originally posted.
Whereas the dob issue was a typo this was a longer term issue with reading a H for a N due to the handwriting. I can only apologise further to all concerned.
Pat

No need to apologise, Pat  :D
It happens occasionally to all of us.

Happy hunting!
