What was her mother's name?
Obviously her mother was in an asylum at the time of the child's birth.

We really need more information to help.
Where and to whom did she marry?

I'm glad you read the opening post better than me Judith ::)
I had the impression Rose Mary was born in an asylum.

Misunderstood!

Death of Dr. Tyrie.
Mr. P. J. Doyle received an urgent wire on Wednesday -morning stating that Dr. Tyrie, formerly of' Cairns had died at Cootamundra.

There's many mentions of Dr Tyrie in Cairns but the others I saw didn't seem relevant.

Hi Sparrett,
What was her mother's name?
Her Mother's details are a mystery, can find no trace of her Mum.  Her Father: Joseph Jones , occ: Marine Engineer, dec'd as at 1899.
Rootschatter judb has provided a lot of info ( see Below)
Obviously her mother was in an asylum at the time of the child's birth.

We really need more information to help.
Where and to whom did she marry?
Married Charles Baxter Tyrie, occ: Surgeon. He died 1917 Harden NSW.

Hi Judith,
Thanks, appreciate this wealth of information.
Rose Mary Tyrie returned to live in the UK following the death of her Husband Charles in Harden NSW 1917.
Two of their children chose to remain in Australia after their Father's death.
I have their details.
Missing information:  Rose birth details etc, Her Mother Roses Mary Jones early life, where born.  IN addition Rose may have been an Inmate of a Mental Institution in NSW about 1909.  As she lived in Cairns Queensland she may have been in a Mental Home there.  Her Husband Charles, a member of the Royal Navy served as Medical Officer on board an Australian Navy Ship early WW1 around New Guinea, then a German province.
What do you need?
Kind regards
