Manitoba vital statistics

Wondering if anyone (from outside of Canada) has ever requested a record from Manitoba vital statistics and, if so, was it straightforward? There is a marriage record from 1939 that I'm interested in. Many thanks.

I can’t see it being a problem, although I can’t speak from experience. I believe you would have to meet certain conditions, however. See attached for info…
