Frances Annie Farrant born 1 Nov 1884 Brighton, Sussex, England
« on: Monday 02 February 26 11:29 GMT (UK) »
Frances was the daughter of John Farrant and Sarah Jane nee Colvin; she married Frederick William Field 3 Oct 1907 in Toronto having moved there 30 Sept 1907 to marry him. They had 2 children, Frederick Farrant Field 1908-1984 who married Beatrice Edna Morice 11 Jun 1937 Dorval, Ontario, they both died in Ottawa.
Frederick William, Frances and Frederick are all shown on the 1911 Canada census.
The 2nd child was Kathleen Frances born 13 Mar 1913 York, Ontario but after that I don't know what happened to her and her parents?
There seems to be another family with a Frederick as the husband but Jane as mother on the 1921 Canada Census but I don't think that Frances could have died before 1921?

Hi
The 1934 death looks right.There is a Probate 1935
Frances Annie Field of Blackmore Farm 6th Cross Road Teddington died 8.12.1934 single woman  .Probate granted to a Rosa Colvin spinster £714 6s 3d.

If it's not her ,it's acbig coincidence.

The probate record says that she is a single woman so if the death is correct did she and Frederick divorce otherwise she would have been a widow wouldn't she?
btw nice picture, Sandra, do you have one for each month?

A family tree on ancestry has the same death.  You might want to take a look at that because it has a different daughter and other conflicting information.

Frederick , Frances Annie, Frederick and Kathleen Frances departed Southampton 6 April 1921 on the Olympic bound for New York. I can't see their prior arrival on the Incoming Passenger Lists. The whole family is also seen departing Liverpool 11 Oct 1924 on the Adriatic bound for New York. http://www.rootschat.com/links/01u7b/

Frances , Frederick and Kathleen are on an Incoming Passenger List , arriving Liverpool 9 July 1927 on the Montcalm from Montreal and Quebec. ( Without Frederick senior )
