I did speak to Quingo and so did my daughter and eldest son.
The best offer was £1,750, £3000 if I bought another of their models .
However this one is the only that will cope ( battery capacity) with the mile and a half journey- three miles there and back and uphill all the way home .
I will try when the weather is better.
I have a heavy sneezing cold and hacking cough at the moment so declined the offer of an accompanied ride out on it this afternoon , Spring is not far away and I must get out more soon.
Son took my prescription to the Chemist, and asked which Cough medicine was compatible with my prescribed drugs.
They said Robitussin ,BUT— it warned very strongly that it was addictive!
So as I am at the Dr’s tomorrow I will ask there.
I really am not sure I ought to go like this ,I will phone up,tomorrow and ask.
So cold and so much rain , but worse in other parts of the country .
A lady at church has already started knitting for the Autumn Fair, delightful toys and baby blankets. We have an Iranian family, the mother speaks little English but I speak to her and her daughter translates.
The lady brought out her phone and WOW !
What exquisite items ,lace table cloths and mats to protect furniture from vases etc ,lovely, she will make some for the Fair .
Well, must get in with something or other.
Cheerio folks ,look after yourselves ., thanks for kind wishes.
Viktoria.
